Beck's

Beck’s

Beck’s is internationally recognised for its distinctive pure, crisp and fresh taste. At 5% ABV, Beck’s has been brewed to the same recipe in Bremen, Germany since 1873 and it is still imported directly into the UK.

Heinrich Beck’s vision to create an exceptional beer from only the finest natural ingredients remains undiluted. To this day Beck’s is brewed in strict accordance to the Reinheitsgebot German purity law. This stipulates that only four pure ingredients can ever be included in the brewing process.

For Beck’s this means hops from the world-famous Bavarian “Hallertau hop gardens”, golden barley, glacier water from a 10,000-year-old reserve near Bremen so pure that neither filtration nor treatment is necessary and a unique yeast cultivated for generations by Beck’s master brewers.

Beck’s communication has always been underpinned by the brands progressive and innovative approach to brewing. Beck’s is famous for its close association with the world of contemporary art following over 20 years of high-profile sponsorship, working with leading artists such as Tracey Emin, Gilbert and George, Rachel Whiteread and Damien Hirst.

In 2007 Beck’s launched Beck’s Fusions. Presented with the Institute of Contemporary Arts Beck’s Fusions is a series of unique events uniting leading art and music talent to create original and exhilarating performances at some of the UK and Ireland’s most iconic venues.
